Can Lis, the legendary home of Danish architect Jørn Utzon on the coast of Mallorca, is one of them. Now, its essence is reinterpreted in the new Ferm Living x Utzon – Can Lis capsule collection, a contemporary ode to timelessness, materiality, and natural balance.

Can Lis is not just a refuge. It's a statement of principles, a silent masterpiece built with sensitivity, where stone, wood, and light compose a sensorial choreography that transcends time. Inspired by this work, Ferm Living, in collaboration with the Utzon Center, has created a collection that translates this philosophy into contemporary design. It's not about reproducing Can Lis, but rather capturing its spirit: the light filtering through shadows, the warmth of natural materials, the calm conveyed by essential forms.
Poetic materiality for real spaces
Each piece in the Ferm Living x Utzon – Can Lis collection engages with the idea of emotional architecture. Solid oak or Douglas pine, textured glass, stone, patinated finishes… The collection explores honest and expressive materials, with sculptural forms and a Mediterranean sensibility reinterpreted through a Nordic lens.
