Designed in 1962 by Miguel Milá, the Wally is the wall-mounted version of the iconic Cesta lamp, bringing its Mediterranean elegance to interior or exterior walls. Its metal wall structure supports a spherical shade of white opal glass, projecting a warm, enveloping, and serene light.
Originally designed for outdoor use, the Wally combines sobriety and formal poetry with a timeless aesthetic that adapts to facades, porches, hallways, or interiors that seek visual continuity with their surroundings. Its unadorned design expresses a unique architectural sensibility, where every line serves a purpose.
Selected by MIDIMAL for its history, formal honesty, and ability to inhabit with discretion and beauty, the Wally Cesta is one of those pieces that, beyond illuminating, belongs to the space.
