The Globo Cesta, designed by Designed by Miguel Milá in 1962, this is a suspended version of one of the most iconic luminaires of Spanish design. It retains its essential form: a white opaline glass globe that emits a warm, enveloping light, this time suspended in the air to offer a floating interpretation of the original design.
Suspended from the ceiling without unnecessary ornamentation, the Globo Cesta fits elegantly into dining rooms, living rooms, or spaces with large ceilings where light needs to speak without overpowering. Its pure silhouette makes the atmosphere the centerpiece, maintaining the Mediterranean sobriety that defines the entire series.
Selected by MIDIMAL for its ability to synthesize form, function, and emotion, the Globo Cesta is a silent statement of good design. A lamp that doesn't seek to stand out, but rather to meaningfully belong in the space.
